Yachtsman, founded in 2014, is an independent family business with a continuous maritime history spanning over 120 years. The leadership team has a combined experience of over 70 years in the sector. We have been owners, charterers, captains, managers and occasionally, very lucky guests! Our clients value our discreet, determined and highly personal approach. Daphne Tsevdos
Founder & Broker
Since 2000, Daphne has played a central role in shaping the yachting industry as we know it today. Cutting her teeth as Head of Charter & Marketing for the 99 metre M/Y Christina O, before acting as the central agent for a 72 metre yacht, followed by an 82 metre yacht, she earned her reputation as an expert on larger yachts, for which she holds an impeccable track record.
Since the founding of Yachtsman, Daphne has managed a fleet of yachts varying in size from 20 metres up to 90 metres overseeing charters worldwide. She is an active advocate for best practices across the industry, provides unwavering support to her fellow professionals, and is a member of the International Propeller Club.
When not running a business, she can normally be found doting over her grandchildren.
Laura Papazefkou
Charter Broker
Raised bi-culturally between the Pacific Northwest of the Unites States and Athens, Greece, Laura has always held a natural affinity for being on the water. On completion of her studies, she dived straight into yachting and rapidly became one of the most knowledgeable and experienced charter brokers in the market, having successfully delivered innumerable world-class charters for her clients, whilst simultaneously managing a charter fleet.
When she is not in the office, she is usually travelling around the world to both hotspots and lesser discovered areas of the globe, scoping out the finer details of sailing destinations.
Laura holds a MSc in Maritime Operations and Management, having completed her dissertation on “The Ecological Footprint of the Mega Yacht Industry”.

Kostantinos Oikonomidis
Sales & Charter Broker
Konstantinos’ dedication, expertise and natural charm make him a true asset to his clients. At Yachtsman, he has been involved in some of the largest sales and charter transactions undertaken by the firm.
Konstantinos learned to sail at the age of 5, setting the stage for ultimate progression to Olympic class windsurfer. Competing as a professional athlete in European and World Championships, his life has been shaped by the sea.
Outside of the office, you are likely to find him on a board somewhere. Either on the waves or up a snow-covered mountain.
Renee Belousis
Charter Broker
Of Greek Australian heritage, Renee has had the privilege of considerable first-hand chartering experience, arming her with considerable insight as to how best meet and exceed her client’s expectations. Her organisational skills and attention to detail are second to none.
Outside of work, she is typically ferrying one of her two children between their various sporting endeavours or doing her utmost not to be shouting from the touchline.
